You know that social media trend that usually says something along the lines of "Romanticizing my life lately..." and is followed by a cute video or a string of photos? Usually the video or photos include what that person would consider "ordinary moments" but as the viewer they make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Usually these are full of real, authentic, and genuine moments that you can look back on and remember, or romanticize, and think "i know exactly what was happening here". This is my approach to photography. I want the photos to feel real, genuine, and authentic. My goal is for memories to be made in our sessions and not just memories full of someone constantly saying, "say cheese". But memories of baking a cake in the kitchen as a family, having a picnic date, dancing & having fun with the ones you love, cherishing a moment of looking down at your pregnant belly and realizing how amazing life is. My goal is to truly just be your friend with a camera.
